A New Paint Job....

Isn't this exciting?? Never thought I would see OUR name on the side of a truck. Town & Country will officially be SCHUETTE FOODSERVICE. It will take a few weeks to get all the paperwork and trucks switched over but it sure is neat seeing the first truck done. I am so glad to see Brian and Todd being in business together. This is a huge dream of Brian's and it's exciting to see him get so excited about all of this. For those of you not around here Brian's warehouse is in Dieterich, Ill (about 10 minuets East of Effingham). The building was built in March and they have a huge warehouse area (with a huge freezer/frig unit) and also an office area. It's a nice set up.....come see us!!!

My New Favorite....

Since Ali now works at Starbucks we get to try all different new drinks. I don't like coffee, never have so trying all these new drinks is not fun for me, but I do it. However one night she brought home this up-side down strawberry lemonade frozen thing.....it was wonderful!! It's now my new favorite drink, however with the temps in the 20's after I drink one I need hot chocolate!!!

What do you think about this?????

They can cook crabs.......but do you think these two can run a company?? I think so!!! We just got back from the bank where Town & Country Foodservice will now be Schuette Foodservice!!! Sounds good...huh? All the papers (and cosigners) have been set and now Brian and his brother are partners! Brian will be the one really working the business and Todd will be a "silent" partner (he has no plans to leave his current job), however I know he has alot to say and do for the company. This is a new chapter in our lives and I know everything is really going to work out. It's been a long few months with legal and stressful stuff and we are glad it's finally over!

Another SLOWWW week at the Schuette's

We have had a very slow and non eventful week (and we have nothing planned for this weekend either). We like these kind of weeks alot. Abby played JV on Tuesday and gets to also play JV tonight. She is really excited when she gets picked to play JV. Ali has been working. She really likes Starbucks and Brian and I even went there last Saturday (when she was working) to get a drink. It was Brian's first Starbucks!! Have to say that I don't think he was that impressed!! :) We had a meeting at Beau's school yesterday and they are finally going to set up to help him with his organizational skills and also some coping skills. He is really doing good so far this semester (even though it's only been 5 days!!).
I love this photo of Beau and Gabe. They were just sitting so good watching TV and just talking to each other. It's a rare moment so I have to enjoy them when they come.
Brian is feeling tired the last few days. Usually about a week after treatment he gets really tired (that's when his blood count is at it's lowest) so he is glad also we have a slow week.
Take care and have a great rest of the week..........

Slow week here......

It's a slow and quiet week here....not much but the "normal" stuff going on. Brian is doing great since last treatment and is getting out and getting several new accounts for work. Since it's been so cold and gloomy here I thought I would share some photos of our cruise we took last July.....

Gabe, my buddy.......

We were sitting in Mass today and as always Gabe is sitting next to me. He kept leaning over and smelling me. Finally he looks up at me and says "Mama...you smell good" Of course I said "thanks baby" He then tells me "You smell like Woman!" I just had to smile and hope he stays young forever!!!

That was taken at Bogus Mountain in Feb. when dad and I went out to visit her in Boise, ID. That's our dog Shakes. She's the best dog and is very good if I want to take photos of her...that's her on St. Patty's day!! An of course Gabe....the subject of alot of my photos!

Update on Brian.....

Brian had chemo #5 yesterday and now he only has one more treatment (January 23)!!! All the scans and tests he had last week came back normal (so no new cancer anywhere!). Today he is just taking it easy as he is not feeling real well. The Doctor is pleased about his progress and believes we caught this very early and the chances of it coming back are slim!! YEAH!!!

The kids go back to school tommorrow and I think they are ready. It will be nice to get back into a routine but I will miss sleeping in. Ali started her job at Starbucks last night and she has a senior picture photo shoot tonight. She has been really busy with her photography business (check out her site to the right!!). Abby has a basketball game Friday night and the boys are....well boys!!

Here are few photos from Christmas. Santa got the kids an XBOX 360 and with it a Guitar Hero game. It has been a favorite of everyone and they are all getting really good. It's fun to watch the game too....ROCK ON!!!!!
