Bug Catching at Ballard Nature Center.....

Abby has been working on a bug collection for a couple of weeks, well now it's due on Friday and she is still missing a dragonfly and a stink bug. We were told that Ballard Nature Center would be a good place to look. I, for one love Ballard.....It's so peaceful and it's always different. Whatever time of the year you come it's new.....I can't wait to go back when the leaves start to fall......here are some photos I took while Abby was trying to catch her bugs....which by the way she never got!!! :(

My favorite of the day......this grasshopper was eating this flower....if you look you can even see his "arms" wrapped around the flower to hold on too......

There was all different flowers there.....of course I don't know what anyone of them is called but I sure do like to look at them (and take photos)
Don't know what these are but they were so cute...they were only about a nickle big
Gabe....getting tired of waiting for Abby to catch her bugs.....He actually had some frogs scare him by jumping near his feet, we saw a snake about 6 inches and alot of bees were doing their thing on the flowers.....
