Free Car Wash!!! :)

I was spraying off my front porch this afternoon and the boys thought it would be fun to wash my car! Yes, it needed it......so I let them have at it. Beats the $8.00 at the Car Wash!

Archery Clinic......

Ben and Gabe did an Archery Clinic this week. It has been one of their favorites and are now asking for a bow/arrow and target for Christmas!!

It was held at the bottom of Community Park.....better known as the "sledding hill".
The equipment they used is very nice......

Once everyone had taken their turn they got to go retrive the arrows......

I love this one....look at Gabe's legs and all the muscles he puts into shooting the arrow.


This week it's baseball and next week they have skateboarding.......

Cook Out......

We had a Cook out at Schuette Foodservice today to benefit the Dieterich Community Education Foundation. It was a beautiful day (hot and sunny). We did great for the Foundation and we also did great with some items we had for sale.

Busy.......

Busy Thursday......Abby Dr. Appt.(lip is healing good), went to work (with construction a 10 min drive was almost 25!! Note to self...start going through T-Town!), Boys to Archery, Abby to EHS Gym (start of 4 day tournament), Take Abby and Friends to Lunch, Fold 250 Product Guides, Make Posters for Cookout, Beau & Brian Bowl, do laundry, and update blog!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today would have been my Mom's Birthday. I told her Happy Birthday as I drove past the cemetary today on the way to work. I pass it twice a day and I can see her crypt from the road. It's kinda nice......

Weekend Camping.....

We went to Stephen Forbes State Park this weekend. It was our first time there and it will not be one of our favorite places (power shortages, lack of maintance, dirty/trach and crowded.)

Brian and I got some new toys....BIKES. We have been wanting some for awhile and the boys loved going on rides with us this weekend

Most of the photos were taken by Beau. He want to use my camera and I think he did a great job. As for this clinic...Ben and Gabe but it at #3 out of the ones they have done. They have liked #1 Basketball and #2 Flag Football. Next week they try Archery.

Abby's "Bubble" Surgery.......

Abby has had this "bubble" (the medical name was something like mucocelle) on the inside of her lip since basketball season when she was hit in the mouth. We have been hoping it would go away but it did not and today she had it removed. She was even a good sport and let me take a few photos before the surgery.....
Abby was very nervous but having her Dad there helped alot.....

She was feeling better this evening and will be OK......She did great!!
